Guided Swim with Saz Reed (Swim with Saz)
Join us for the second of three Blue Health events with Marine Scientist and Open Water Swim Coach Saz Reed of Swim with Saz, which will help you to explore and learn all about our rivers, lochs, and seas.
This second session will cover everything to do with swim safety, so you can feel confident the next time you want to explore one of the many beautiful swims spots we are lucky to have on our doorstep.
At 5pm the group will meet outside the front of the Ice Factor building, the group will then walk down to the river together for a short guided swim with Saz.
Afterwards, there is the option to head back to the Aluminium Story for a talk on swim safety to go more in depth about planning a safe swim, with the chance to ask Saz any questions you have! Talk starts at 6.15pm.
You do not need a wetsuit for this session, but if you would like to use one but don't own one, please let us know and we will see if we can get one for you to lend.
Note: This booking is for the guided swim only. You can attend one or both of the session, the talk does not need to be booked in advance.
This event is part of KCT's Green Health project, funded by HTSI through their Communities Health and Wellbeing Fund.
