Guided Tour of Sidings @ Foundry Wood

Take a stroll around this fascinating site with links to the railways and foundries and find out more about the community woodland.

The Friends of Foundry Wood volunteers will be offering FREE guided tours of the Sidings adjacent to Foundry Wood. Access and group size limited to 10 people per session.

Please wear sturdy footwear as there are trip hazards. We have done our best to make the site level and accessible, however by the nature of the Railway Sidings there are some slopes and uneven surfaces so this is not accessible for people using a wheelchair.

Suitable for all ages. Children must be accompanied by adults.

Meet at the Railway Wagon at the entrance to the wood.

The tour will last approximately 30 - 40 minutes
