About this event

Bhaktivedanta Manor is a spiritual sanctuary, a temple, a monastery and a place of contemplation and exploration for the spiritually inquisitive. It offers a retreat to a world of yoga, meditation, sacred music and dance, vegetarian food, festivals, courses, events and worship. All this is set alongside a gorgeous Krishna Temple within the mock-Tudor building. This unique centre is open to the public free of charge, all year round.

We recommend booking a tour for a complete experience. The tour will last about an hour and you'll visit the main building and grounds including the temple, cow protection centre, gardens and woodland walk.

Tours are free and available everyday. We recommend weekdays for a quiet visit, and Sunday for a festive experience.

What can I visit at the Manor?

Whether you’re a new visitor or a regular worshipper, everyone is welcome to take part in the plethora of experiences the Manor has to offer. You can come and learn about eastern philosophy and wisdom by taking a course, make a spiritual connection through worship, or just come and relax in the beautiful gardens and experience peace and tranquillity.

Organised by

Bhaktivedanta Manor is an oasis of spiritual inspiration, donated to the Hare Krishna movement by the world-famous Beatle George Harrison. Here, one can retreat to a world of yoga, contemplation, sacred music and dance, vegetarian food, theatre, seminars, workshops, community schooling, and the country’s largest fully operational organic dairy where cows and bulls are protected throughout their lives. All this is set alongside a gorgeous temple of Krishna amid picturesque gardens. The pleasant atmosphere and vibrant spiritual activities always make for an interesting and uplifting experience. Entrance to Bhaktivedanta Manor is always free!
