Join North London Waste Authority and the Friends of the Welsh Harp for a peaceful and informative guided tree walk around the reservoir, where you can escape the city for an afternoon and learn about a variety of native and non-native species. This walk will open your eyes to the rich biodiversity that surrounds this site of special scientific interest, as well as the curious stories and histories associated with the trees, animals and waters here.

What to Expect:

· Learn to identify trees by their leaves, bark, and shape

· Discover the mythology and folklore surrounding local species and environment

· Spot wildlife that depends on these trees for food and shelter

· Great opportunities for nature photography

· A relaxing, mindful experience in nature

What to Bring: Comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, water, and your curiosity! Binoculars are welcome. Spaces are limited – reserve your spot today!

This event is part of research organised by the North London Waste Authority and the University of Derby. North London residents (from Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey, Islington, or Waltham Forest) can receive a £20 voucher by completing surveys.
