Join us for our guided walk; A Tour of the Forts.
Our walk begins with a steady climb from the village through Thorngrafton and onto the common before reaching Housesteads Fort via east East Crindledykes.
We then follow the Wall eastwards over Hotbank Crags with good views of Crag Lough and to the south of Vindolanda Fort. We descend close to the fort passing a Roman milestone on the way before taking footpaths above the burn back to Bardon Mill.
