Guided Walk: A Woodland Wander
Sat 15 July 2017, 10:00 – 12:00 BST
Take a morning stroll around the beautiful Heart of England Forest with Forestry team member Tom Smith and learn about the ambitious vision to plant tomorrow's great native woodland.
Spend your time learning about the year-round work that goes into creating and maintaining the Forest as you explore the footpath network through the Dorisngton woods. Make sure you come armed with all your woodland questions and Tom will be on hand to help answer them.
While we do not set a ticket price for this event we kindly request that a minimum donation of £4.00 per adult is made. This will allow us to cover any costs and continue with our work and offering these guided walks through the Heart of England Forest.
Free parking on the day will be available in the farmyard at Collett's Farm, CV37 8AU.
The walk will last around two hours – please remember to bring comfortable walking shoes as whilst it’s an easy going walk the ground is uneven in some places. Also remember to bring some water, sunblock and dress as the weather demands!
Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs kept on leads are welcome.
