Guided Walk around Coventry City Walls

This guided walk will follow more or less the route of Coventry's City or Town Walls. These walls were once second only to those in London and if you know where to look it is surprising how much still remains.

We will not only look at the walls themselves, but also some of the buildings which were once associated with the wall.

The original walls had a circumference of just over 2 miles. This walk will be about 2.5 miles as we have to go around some modern developments and through underpasses under Coventry's inner ring road.

The walk will start in Broadgate by Lady Godiva's Statue and will last 2.5 - 3 hours, but we will take brief comfort break at Pool Meadow bus station, about half way around the tour.

Please wear comfortable shoes. There are some steps although most can be avoided if necessary.
