Time/meeting place: 11:00 at the entrance to the Open Space at the north end of Aleyn Way - this is a residential street (morning walk to finish about 13:00).

Transport: Nearest station: Baldock (Thameslink from London Kings Cross to Cambridge)

Directions: From the A505 just east of Baldock, take the slip road exit to Baldock (old road) into the town and at the traffic lights turn left onto the A507 (directions Buntingford). Just before you cross the Baldock Bypass there is a roundabout; take the first turning onto Wallington Road marked as a dead end. Follow the road around, then at a small roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Yeomanry Drive and then turn right onto Aleyn Way – the meeting point is at the end of the road. Parking will be on street so please respect local residents.

Information: Join Andrew Wood and Liz Goodyear for a guided butterfly walk around Clothall Common which was created when the Baldock Bypass was built and now become established as a very good site for ‘blue’ butterflies! No dogs are allowed on this walk.
