Guided Walk - From The River Coquet to Tosson Hill
Mon 17 April 2017, 10:30 – 15:30 BST
Join our guided walk From The River Coquet to Tosson Hill.
Starting at the Lime Kilns, we descend to the river valley and follow it westward through the delightful fishery and lakes at Caistron. We then climb steadily up onto the skyline ridge at Whitefield Hill.
A good path through the heather takes us to the summit at Tosson Hill which enjoys wonderful views to the Cheviots and a different aspect of Simonside. Descending to the wonderfully named "Bob Pyles Studdie" we continue down through the forest to Great Tosson.
Discover the best routes in the Northumberland National Park on our Volunteer Guided Walks. Get outside, enjoy your time walking and leave the planning and navigation to us; it’s what we’re best at.
Nobody knows the best places to walk in the National Park like our volunteers so you’ll never be short of local history, stories, features and viewpoints.
Lace up your boots and enjoy a great day outside.
