Join us as we visit the Drake Stone & Harbottle Castle.
Hear about the stories & myths connected with the Drake Stone & the castle that dominates the area. Our walk takes us through a wood to the Drake Stone and on to Harbottle Lake.
We then descend to Alwinton Church, before turning east towards the Lime Kiln & Park House. There are wonderful views from here of the Drake Stone & Harbottle Castle. Continuing east we pass to the north of the Castle before crossing the river and taking the footpath through the village.
