Event description

Description

Meet in front of the entrance to Guildhall Art Gallery for an 11am start.

Guildhall Art Gallery is home to the City of London's art collections. The works range from early portraits to Pre-Raphaelite paintings and scenes of London and London life by artists from the 17th century to the modern day. Highlights include the largest painting in the UK, the ‘greenest picture in the world’, the Heritage Gallery featuring fascinating documents from the City’s centuries-old historic archives and London’s Roman amphitheatre, which we will visit "in situ" in the bowels of the Gallery. Your guide, Karen Chester, is a qualified City of London Guide and the Lead Guide for Guildhall Art Gallery.
