Join Makerspace Hull and luthier Dave Arundel to learn the basics of guitar set up in this relaxed and informal workshop.

Topics covered will include:

Truss rod adjustment
Action height
Intonation
Fret height checking and basic first aid for those with minimal tools
Electrics troubleshooting

Please bring your own guitar along with you for the workshop, other tools will be provided.

About Dave Arundel:

Dave Arundel is a local Beverely based luthier and member of the Guild of Master Craftsmen and has been running Arundel Guitars for the past 8 years and building / repairing / customising for around 15 years.

He is a regular exhibitor at national guitar shows including London International Guitar Show for the past 5 years and also has regular sponsorship use of his instruments with professionals, most recently Sam Scherdel (and band) at Humber Street Sesh and Glastonbury for the past 2 years.
