Guitar setup & maintenance workshop
Overview
This free workshop, led by Riccardo from Guitar Wharf, is designed to introduce musicians to the importance of a proper guitar setup tailored to their individual playing style and needs. We’ll explore the fundamentals behind great playability—action, intonation, neck relief, and hardware care—and how to approach these adjustments safely and effectively.
You’ll also learn essential year-round maintenance practices, including correct storage, humidity control, string care, and long-term preservation—especially valuable for musicians who own multiple guitars, vintage instruments, or larger collections.
Hosted at Really Good Sound Studio by producer and professional musician Herman Ringer, the event offers a relaxed and friendly environment to learn, ask questions, and connect with fellow musicians in the community.
Whether you're a beginner wanting to understand your guitar better, an experienced player looking to refine your setup knowledge, or a collector who wants to protect a valuable collection, this workshop provides practical guidance you can apply immediately.
