The Family Workshop was established in 1915 dedicated to the construction of high quality handcrafted Spanish, Classic and Flamenco Guitars. Nowadays, Felipe Conde (who belongs to the third generation of this guitar-making dynasty), has given the family tradition a new boost and enhanced the hallmarks that have always characterized Conde's guitars. Considered one of the world’s best flamenco guitarists today, Juan Cristóbal Martín was born in Spain in 1948 and was initiated into the art of flamenco at the age of 6. By the time he was 20 he moved to Madrid in pursuit of his dream, where he completed his studies and rubbed shoulders with greats such as Niño Ricardo and Paco de Lucía.
