Event description
The launch of new signature perfume Bee, collaboration of sustainable fashion brand Gung Ho & ethical fragrance brand Lovorika.

About this Event

We've been busy bees collaborating with ethical fragrance brand Lovorika, and we are beyond excited to show you what we've been up to. Welcome the new signature Gung Ho collaboration, BEE, the fragrance. Lovorika are the ethical beauty brand on the block, rooted in natural perfumery & aromatherapy, embracing ancient wisdom, old world magic and new world vegan sustainable luxury - yum (we can't get enough).

BEE is a warm citrus-floral scent. It is a natural fragrance reminiscent of a bee's journey through organic orchards, nectar rich floral fields, and drippings of tree sap before buzzing home to the hive. Immerse yourself in Mother Nature's perfume. Bee clean. Bee ethical. Bee kind.

This perfume is 100% pesticide free and hand crafted by Daphna Rowe, Lovorika's Founder and Natural Perfumer. Utilising Lovorika's innovative formula, BEE is a Dry Oil Parfum spray. The non-greasy formula lasts longer while hydrating and moisturising your skin. This is a healthy and organic alternative to perfumer's alcohol which not only depletes skin of its natural protective layer, it leaves a molotov cocktail of toxic and unsustainable chemicals that are absorbed into our bloodstream and into the atmosphere.

All fragrant botanicals of BEE are organic essential oils certified by The Soil Association. The dry oil is a natural coconut oil emollient that has been certified by EcoCert.

Handmade in London in small batches, this perfume also comes in a custom one of a kind Gung Ho drawstring bag upcycling offcuts from the collection.

Top Notes: Bergamot, Orange, Grapefruit and Litsea

Heart Notes: Geranium, Lavender

Base Notes: Vetiver, Sandalwood, Cedar, Coffee

Pesticides don't just affect food and drink, but all fields (see what we did there), and so it is our mission to highlight the impact that it is having on fashion and beauty industry.

Many people do not understand quite how many pesticides are used on crops, and where those crops end up. Whether it is the cotton that made your t shirt, or the fragrance you put on this morning, all these ingredients have been coated in chemicals that are really impacting the environment, as well as your personal health.

Join us on the 20th November, 7 - 9pm at #womenwhogiveashit @ Boxpark, Shoreditch, to discuss all things Pesticides, hearing from the pros heading the change themselves. Organic canapés, organic drinks and be the first to smell the fragrance, as well as immersing yourself into the world of pesticides - to find out how they are impacting the environment. We're taking over this poignant cause, so join our movement and come and learn how we can make a difference!

See you there! x
