Gweithdy Gwneud Papur Creadigol gyda Sarah Holloway

Dydd Sadwrn 25 Mai 10yb - 1yp

Archwiliwch bosibiliadau gweadeddol a chael hwyl yn arbrofi gyda gwneud eich darnau eich hun o bapur wedi'i wneud â llaw wedi'i ailgylchu. Byddwch yn dysgu sut i ddefnyddio Deckle a Mouldio ac i drawsnewid hen bapur i bapur newydd, gan ddefnyddio'r dull arllwys.

Dewiswch ymhlith petalau sych, hadau, dail ac edafedd i'w hychwanegu at eich papur i greu arwynebau gweadol cyffrous. Gellir fframio’r rhain, eu gwneud yn hongianau wal neu eu defnyddio mewn gludwaith a gwneud cardiau, tagiau anrhegion, nodau tudalen ac ati.

Bydd yr holl ddeunyddiau yn cael eu darparu. Efallai y byddwch hefyd am ddod â rhai o'ch dail sych neu betalau blodau eich hun i'w hychwanegu at y detholiad o gynhwysion, yn ogystal â darnau tenau ychwanegol o bapur i'w hailgylchu fel rhan o'ch creadigaethau papur wedi'u gwneud â llaw.

Bydd digonedd o adnoddau gweledol i’ch ysbrydoli, gan gynnwys delweddau gan artistiaid eraill sy’n gwneud papur.

Mae'r cwrs hwn yn rhan o'n cyfres Uwchsgilio ac Uwchgylchu ac wedi'i ariannu'n hael gan Sefydliad Cymunedol Cymru. Am lu o resymau nid yw'r byd bob amser yn lle teg a chytbwys. Gyda hynny mewn golwg, rydym yn cydnabod y gwahaniaeth economaidd presennol ac rydym am helpu i gael gwared ar rwystrau ariannol i ddysgu. Gallwn gynnig lleoedd am ddim i’r rhai sy’n wynebu caledi ariannol. Ein diffiniad o galedi ariannol yw’r rhai sy’n ei chael hi’n anodd talu costau beunyddiol hanfodol fel bwyd a lloches, y rhai a allai ddibynnu ar fudd-daliadau neu sydd wedi bod yn ddi-waith am gyfnod hir.

I ofyn am docyn am ddim, e-bostiwch Emma ar Emma@cwmarian.org.uk yn amlinellu pam eich bod yn gymwys.

Creative Papermaking with Sarah Holloway

Saturday 25th May 10am - 1pm

Explore textural possibilities and have fun experimenting with making your very own pieces of recycled handmade paper. You will learn how to use a Deckle and Mould and to transform old paper into new, using the pouring method.

Choose amongst dried petals, seeds, leaves and threads to add into your paper to create exciting textural surfaces. These can be framed, made into wall hangings or used in collage and card making, gift tags, bookmarks etc.

All materials will be provided. You may also want to bring some of your own dried leaves or flower petals to add to the selection of inclusions, as well as additional thin scraps of paper to recycle as part of your handmade paper creations.

There will be plentiful visual resources to help inspire you, including images by other Papermaking artists.

This course is part of our Upskill and Upcycle series and generously funded by Community Foundation Wales. For a multitude of reasons the world is not always a fair and balanced place. With that in mind, we recognise the economic disparity present and want to help remove financial barriers to learning. We can offer free places for those who are facing financial hardship. Our definition of financial hardship is those who are finding it hard to meet essential everyday costs such as food and shelter, those who may rely on benefits or who have been long term unemployed.

To request a free ticket, please email Emma on Emma@cwmarian.org.uk outlining why you are eligible.
