Event Details

This is our first Network of 2019 and a learning event for anybody who works with, and supports, volunteers across Gwent.

Based on feedback from our last event, the focus this time will be Recruitment & Retention, Involving Young People and using Social Media to promote your Organisations and Opportunities. This along with updates for the sector with presentations from key note speakers (detailed below) will ensure that you feel more supported and up to date with your Volunteer Management.

Fiona Liddell, Volunteering Development Manager, Wales Council for Voluntary Action will be updating you on the national support and resources available to you.

Felicitie Walls, WCVA Volunteering Grants and Youth Development Manager will share information on youth volunteering developments and Grants available to you and give advice on how to involve young people in your Organisation.

He will then invite questions from the floor. https://volunteering-wales.net/vk/volunteers/index.htm
