To mark this year’s Comms Week, we are bringing together a panel of industry leaders to unpack the future trends reshaping our industry — from the impact of AI, recruitment patterns and predictions, and the evolving skillsets that define success today. We will also explore the critical role communicators play in building a diverse, inclusive future, against the backdrop of continuous global change.

Effie Kanyua: Founder of We Are Warriors PR and ethical AI tool LILA Assistant, Effie is a former Director of PR & Comms at Hearst UK and Bauer Media. She began her career as a BBC journalist and has since led teams across global agencies and top brands. Effie also mentors for WIPR and Creative Access and sits on the GWPR Advisory Board.
Harriet Meyer: Founder of AI for Media and an award-winning journalist, Harriet was named one of LinkedIn’s Top 12 AI Voices in Europe. Known for her practical, people-first approach, she helps PR and comms professionals embrace AI without losing their mind - or their humanity.
Laura Perry: With nearly 20 years’ experience shaping brands like Nestlé, Specsavers and Mastercard, Laura knows how to turn creativity into impact. A champion of bold ideas, she also serves on the Women in PR board, established to increase the number and diversity of women in leadership roles, where she oversees the event programme.
Neil Kleiner
A marketing and creative consultant with two decades of experience, Neil has led social and influencer teams at Havas, Golin, SEC Newgate and Publicis. From the MySpace era to TikTok, he’s helped global brands connect with audiences in new ways. Neil now heads Antiquoted, a platform linking journalists and event organisers with diverse, credible experts.
Rohan Shah
Co-founder of Reuben Sinclair, Rohan connects leading PR, Marketing, Sales and Digital talent with businesses worldwide. As Co-Chair of the PRCA’s HR Group and former Chair of APSCo’s Marketing Sector Forum, he’s a vocal advocate for ethical, effective recruitment. He also supports the University of East London as an external panel member, ensuring its professional programmes align with real-world needs.
