H. E. Kalu Rinpoche: Five Empowerments of Six-Armed Mahakala
H.E. Kalu Rinpoche will offer Five Empowerments for the Swift Acting, Six-Armed Wisdom Protector Chakdrukpa in London on October 26th, 2025.
In Year Two of the Shangpa Kagyu online seminar, we will be including the extended 'Druptap', and this practice requires both the usual empowerment as well as three additional ones, so four in total.
Together with these, also included on October 26th will be the empowerment of The Wish Fulfilling Jewel, White Mahakala.
All five empowerments will be given on Sunday 26th October in the Waldo Williams Suite at the Friends House, Euston Road (directly opposite Euston Station).
Registration: 9 am for 10 am start. Finish: 4.30 pm.
The event will be recorded.
Book early to avoid disappointment: capacity 120 only.
Hope to see you there, Lama Chodrak and the Shangpa Kagyu UK Team.
The 2nd Kalu Rinpoche is the lineage holder of the Shangpa Kagyu tradition, one of the eight traditions of Tibetan Buddhism. He was officially recognised by Tai Situ Rinpoche as the reincarnation of Kalu Rinpoche on March 25th, 1992.
Rinpoche completed the three year retreat in 2008, and in 2009, received all the transmissions of the Shangpa Kagyu lineage.
The Shangpa Kagyu lineage, founded by the Mahasiddha Khyungpo Naljor, is a treasure trove of profound teachings, tracing its origins to two enlightened dakinis from India, Niguma and Sukhasiddhi.
