We'd like to invite all clubs and coaches across Herefordshire and Worcestershire to join us in a series of Lockdown Networking Events on Zoom through February.
We will be running 2 coach specific events on Monday 1 and 8 February 9.30-11am and 1 club specific session on Monday 15 February 7.30-9pm. Although clubs and coaches are welcome to attend all!
The Coach Network Events are aimed at all level of coaches in the county. We’ve split the sessions into two, so we don’t bombard you with everything all at once and it’ll also give you an opportunity to ask questions, ask for advice and tell us what support you need going forwards.
The first session on February 1, will be an update on key LTA and local initiatives ready for Spring and the chance to chat to other coaches to see what they're doing during lockdown.
The second session on February 8, is designed to help you plan now for the best possible return to tennis when courts open again. We’re hoping to inspire you with ideas on what you could be doing now that would really drive your business forward when we return. You may even be able to recoup some of your lost revenue by introducing some new ideas!
As these are informal events they do not automatically come with CPD credit, although you can use the independent learning form on the LTA website to reflect on the session for CPD credit approval. If you fill in and submit a suitable reflection form this would give you I CPD point per session.
The Club event on February 15, will bring clubs up to speed with both local and regional LTA initiatives and focus on what you can be doing through lockdown to be ready to hit the ground running when clubs are able to open again. We will share ideas from other clubs and focus on the importance of clubs and coaches working together.
