Who needs this qualification?
Anyone working in a catering setting where food is prepared, cooked or handled.
- Recall the importance of food safety and knowledge of the systems, techniques and procedures involved in producing food that is safe to eat
- State how to control food safety risks (personal hygiene, food storage, cooking and handling)
- Describe processes to safely deliver quality food to customers
Refreshing this qualification is recommended at least every 3 years.
