HabVIUK 2020 is the annual conference for habilitation specialists working with blind and partially sighted children in the UK.

About this Event

Being held once again at Touchbase Pears in Birmingham on Thursday 5 March, the programme will include:

  • Janet Harwood from the CVI Society, talking about the implications of CVI for a child or young person with a visual impairment, and considerations for the habilitation specialists working with them
  • Sue Mort's overview of the Hab Tracker
  • Lore Thaler from Durham University will feedback on their echolocation training programme and offer an insight into what's next
  • Jessica Hayton from UCL, feeding back on the findings from the sleep clinic research
  • An exhibition of suppliers and charities
