HACIENDA ZORITA Spanish Cheese & Wine Tasting at LA FROMAGERIE

Join us for a glass of Rosé Cava alongside some Spanish pinxos, followed by a tasting journey exploring the terroir of the Salamnaca region through Wine, Cheese & Charcuterie. We begin with a Verdejo, followed by two very different styles of Rioja, the first is an intriguing single estate wine from their unique vineyard that is the first to be granted Experimental Status to grow international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. This intriguing single vineyard Rioja wine has been crafted using extreme viticulture techniques. The second Rioja won Gold Sommelier Wine Awards 2016, a more classic reserva rioja. The wines will be paired with Queso Curado de Cabra, Torta de Dehesa & Curado Reserva, all made on the Zorita Farm, in Salamanca. For the Charcuterie we will be tasting Jamon, Lomo, Chorizo Pata Negra, Teruel & Iberico Salchichon de Vic. The tasting will finish on a sweet note with a sherry paired with a spanish blue.
This promises to be a fascinating insight to the culture & history of this rich landscape.
