About this event

Science & Tech • High Tech

After the resounding success of Hack Glasgow in 2025, we're back for 2026!

Often referred to as Europe's friendliest city, Glasgow is Scotland's home of innovation, culture, science, and technology. Well renowned for their grit and determination, the perceived mindset of Glaswegians is not too dissimilar to that of the hacker community, making it the perfect city to host Scotland's premier community-led information security conference.

People Make Glasgow, but we Hack Glasgow.

What to Expect:

Scheduled for Saturday 25th April 2026, Hack Glasgow will be a single day event boasting two parallel speaking tracks, villages, a central and generously-sized sponsor area, and exclusive afterparty for attendees, speakers, crew, and sponsors.

Food (both lunch and dinner) will be available for all who attend, with tea and coffee provided throughout the day.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have a Code of Conduct?

We follow the Berlin Code of Conduct.

When will talk recordings be uploaded?

A staple question at any infosec conference! We plan to get them out within 30 days of the conference finishing. This allows speakers time to opt-out of the upload and gives ourselves, and volunteers, time to caption any video.

Do I really need a ticket? Don't you know who I am?

Once the General Admission tickets are gone - they're really gone. We don't do multiple drops, hidden discount codes, mates rates, or let folks in because we want to massage their ego. We want everyone who attends the conference to be on a level playing field.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes! The venue is fully accessible with different entrances (double doors and ramps) and the entire event will be on one single level. If you have accessibility concerns or questions, feel free to reach out to us or the venue directly.

How can I sponsor the event?

If you, or your company are interested in exploring sponsoring opportunities, we'd love to hear from you. Our sponsorship pack (https://hackglasgow.live/sponsor) contains all relevant information but please don't be afraid to reach out and grab some time with us for a chat!

I'm a speaker/volunteer, do I need a ticket?

Speakers and volunteers will be given a full ticket to the day. If you've already purchased a ticket, you can either request a refund, resell it, or give it away.

When will the Call for Papers open/close?

The Call for Papers (CfP) will open around 6 months prior to the event and close around 3 months prior to the event to give speakers enough time to confirm their acceptance and write their talk.

What's the Pay It Forward scheme?

Tickets are bought and donated to the Pay It Forward scheme by members of the community to allow those who wouldn't otherwise be able to attend a chance to come along and experience an infosec conference. Applications for the Pay It Forward scheme are assessed by the Hack Glasgow team.

Are members of the press welcome?

Yes! We want to showcase our brilliant speakers, attendees, sponsors, and crew to you. The only rule we have is to make yourself clearly known as a member of the press when interacting with delegates (wearing your press creds usually covers this). Contact us for a press pass.

Can I bring my child (under 18), and do they need a ticket?

Children are welcome at the event however please bear in mind some topics may be of an adult nature. Children over 2 years old require their own ticket to be purchased. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied at all times by adult and vacate the premises by 9pm to comply with licensing law.
