Find out how your skills and experience can help develop solutions for Preventative Healthcare issues. If you don't know what preventative healthcare is, come along to find out more!

You'll get the chance to hear from a range of speakers who have used technology to support preventative healthcare initiatives, as well as meeting like-minded individuals who aim to change the landscape of digital health one challenge at a time.


Speakers include:


Paula Carroll

Paula has 17 years experience in secure mental health services, predominately involved in research and activities around the prevention and management of physical health needs of patients with mental health problems. Paula has also been involved in the development of the award winning 'Dr. Feelwell' and is currently the Module Lead on Edge Hill University's MA in Leadership in Health and Social Care.

Elsa Zekeng

Elsa has recently completed her PhD at the University of Liverpool based at the Institute of Infection and Global Health. Her project focused on the identification of potential biomarkers in detection of the severity of Influenza A infection. Whilst studying Elsa co-founded the organisation North West Bio Tech Initiative. Their mission is to promote the development of young biotech researchers by providing an innovative platform for fostering relationships between academia and industry.

Mark Green

Mark is a Lecturer in Health Geography at the University of Liverpool. His research involves the development of new metrics on health-related features of environments such as accessibility to health care facilities.
