Hackney Herbal Aromatherapy Workshop
By nia
Overview
Sip tea, sniff oils and get creative! A women-only aromatherapy session to relax, refocus and make
your own dreamy blends.
Join East London Rape Crisis and Hackney Herbal for a free, nurturing workshop focused on self-care and wellbeing using herbs. This workshop will be an introduction to aromatherapy and how essential oils can be used to support the mind and body. In this restorative session, you will:
- Learn about the properties of a range of essential oils and how to use them safely to enhance our wellbeing
- Explore the themes of relaxation, focus & concentration, stress and sleep.
- BONUS: Create your own aromatherapy spray and perfume roll-on to take home. Spaces are limited so register now for free to reserve your spot.
Feedback from participants of our previous Herbal Tea Workshop: I really love this variety of well-being upskilling NIA provides. Healing is beyond talk therapy. Great way to learn something new/beneficial and to take our mind off stressful things.
About the facilitator: Nat Mady set up Hackney Herbal in 2015 as a way to connect people and herbs in her local area. Her main aim for the project was to find a way to share her knowledge about herbs and wellbeing, and do this in a way that was accessible for Hackney residents.
