About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours 30 minutes

At Hackney Libraries we now host eight different writing workshops that are all free to join. And for the second time, writers from across our libraries will be coming together to share their work!

We’re making these showcases a regular part of our library programming to give everyone a chance to listen and be heard.

Join us for readings and performances from a wonderful lineup of emerging and established writers. The event will start at 6pm sharp, with the doors open from 5.30pm.

We’ll be hearing from:

  • Lisa Ogun’ and the Black Women Writers Group at Shoreditch Library
  • Jack Houston and Hackney Libraries Online Poetry Group
  • Hackney Central Library Writing Group
  • Jonathan Fortgang and Stamford Hill Writing Group
  • Morgan Omotoye and Dalston CLR James Library Writing Group
