Description
Initial tickets are gone but add yourself to the waitling list to be first on release/cancelled tickets!
hackpompey is a social hack day open to everyone looking to learn, hack and meet new people.
- Not a competition. Everyone is welcome, we care about this being a safe and fun environment.
- Not just coders. You don't need to have any level of skills, all areas welcome. Whether that be graphic design, coding, hardware, crafts, photography or literally anything
- Bring your tools and equipment. Laptops, craft supplies, pen & paper, Raspberry Pis. Whatever you need for your hacking/making!
- Free food and drink - breakfast lunch and dinner y'al. Gotta keep you fueled through out.
- Free goodies from sponsors and friends
- Don't wanna hack or make? We'll have some areas to chill and play games.
This is the first event of hopefully many and is inspired by hack events like 'hacksoton'.
We're on Twitter, Facebook and other social media under 'hackpompey'. Use that #hackpompey hashtag and get some hype going.
Only 50 tickets before you get put on a waiting list so make sure to register.
When?
Saturday, 22nd November. 10am - 6pm.
- 10:00 - Get here, set-up have some breakfast
- 10:30 - Some introductions
- 13:30 - Lunch
- 17:00 - Dinner
- 18:00 - Show and Tell
Where?
We're in the Innovation Space located at: Halpern House, 1 Hampshire Terrace, Portsmouth, PO1 2QF. Over the road from the University's Union and Mercantile House.

FAQs
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Train in to Portsmouth & Southsea gives you a 5 min walk here.
There is metered parking on St George's Rd. Car park and University House car parking between Innovation Space and Eldon Budiling which is pay-and-display.
There is possible free spaces on Elm Grove and further down towards Albert Road.
