Hadrian's Wall: exploring its past to protect its future- A book launch
Date and time
Join Editors and Authors for a drinks' reception at Newcastle Castle, launching a book on Hadrian's Wall past, its present and its future.
About this event
Join us in the exclusive context of Newcastle Castle's Great Hall, to celebrate the launch of a new book on Hadrian's Wall as a cultural resource. Editors and authors will share a drink with attendees, and chat about the complex and extremely rewarding job of researching, interpreting and managing Hadrian's Wall.
The event is free to attend, and one drink (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available) is included. Copies of the volume, edited by Alberti and Mountain, and featuring contributors such as Prof. David Breeze, Dr. Andrew Birley, Tony Wilmott, Prof. Rebecca Jones and many other Wall researchers will be available for purchase.
To make sure everyone has a comfortable evening we have to limit the spaces we release to the public. Please only book if you plan to attend, and cancel in good time if you can no longer take part. Priority will be given to attendees with a printed/digital ticket. If you do not have a booking you might be asked to wait!
We look forward to celebrating with you this new, forward looking and exciting volume, which sees the light in the important year of Hadrian's Wall 1900th anniversary!
