Best Original Concept
At Haelo we encourage and embrace innovative and original approaches in everything we do. An entry in this category should demonstrate an interestingly new or unusual approach to either the narrative or technical style of the film.
Entries into this category should be focussed on the personal stories of individual patients or service users within public services. For example, this could be a patient story within healthcare.
This category is for filmmakers aged 14-21. We encourage entrants into this category to enter films made on devices, such as smartphones and tablets and use apps such as Vine, Viddy and Mobli.
This award goes to the film that has excelled in every aspect of the judging criteria. Every shortlisted film will be considered for this award.
This award is a public vote opened a month before the awards ceremony.
