Watch here https://youtu.be/h6XkqGkhQRU

Our In Conversation series with the Travel Experts explored where our participants think travel trends and policymaking is headed in 2030 and beyond, particular as thinking is shifting around responsible ethical, sustainably and mindful business as well as the traditional environments that could be tweaked to creating a more enabling environment to deliver impact and profit.

Our last webinar held the UN’s SDGs as a barometer for impact and that included Climate Action and the role business plays in delivering on that. We’re moving the conversation on to investing in solutions that bridge the gap between communities in the global context, how travel affects global impact around climate, what is ethical travel and how, we all have a role to play in shaping that narrative.

This interactive discussion featured insights from :

Jehanzeb Salim Director, Super Savari Express

Soumaya Hamdi CEO, The Halal Travel Guide

Atif Bin Arif Co Founder, Ghumo

Capt Syed Adnan Executive Director, Halal Trip

Kazi S Rahman CEO & Co Founder, Firnas Airways

We also discussed their motivations in engaging with environmental, social and governance issues in core business.

We asked how trends in climate change and gender equality are informing business decisions today as well as other developments that are affecting the integration of the 2030 Agenda into corporate decision-making practices. Alongside, why they thought investors are now thinking about putting funds into ethical or responsible businesses or into supporting purpose driven leaders, what does this new wave of entrepreneurship thinking mean over the next decade and how that affects products and services (from design to impact), and how does this compare to our traditional Company CEOs, who are now looking at responsibility from a different lens (moving on from paper waste to employee wellbeing and developing ethical products).
