About this event

We meet outside Hounslow West tube at the class start time.

You will learn to cook deliciously easy curry sauces from scratch- how to get the right consistency, make thick, velvety sauces, get depth of flavour and layer spices for balance and taste. This hands on class will give you many tips and ideas for a whole range of different dishes as the curry sauces can be used with a multitude of ingredients and even frozen for later use.

 Typical recipes-

 Pulao Rice, Egg curry, , Murgh ka Korma (Chicken in a velvety nut based curry with no cream), Channa Masala (Chickpeas in a north Indian tomato and onion based curry sauce), Vatana usal (Green peas with chilli and coconut)

If you cancel over 2 weeks before the start of the course you can choose an alternative date or course of an equivalent value. If you cancel within 2 weeks of the course, no transfers are permitted and you will forfeit your place.

Cooking With Monisha is a London based Indian cookery school run by award winning cookery author and chef Monisha Bharadwaj. The cookery school has been running for the past 15 years. Monisha trained as a chef at the prestigious Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai and along with doing TV and radio, has been teaching her easy style of cooking all over the UK since then.
