Half-day Event - Changing Our View, Letting Go of Obsessive Thinking
Overview
Do you find yourself caught in repetitive, self-focused thoughts that drain your energy and distort your perspective?
In this inspiring and practical course, Kadam John McBretney will guide us through the liberating Buddhist practice of exchanging self with others – a powerful method for stepping out of obsessive thinking and into a more balanced, open-hearted way of being.
By learning to change our mental perspective, we can let go of the self-cherishing habits that lie at the root of frustration, insecurity and disconnection. Instead, we discover the peace, strength and joy that come from relating to others with empathy and wisdom.
On this course, you will explore:
- Why self-centred thinking fuels our mental pain
- How to develop genuine empathy and emotional freedom
- A step-by-step method to shift from “me” to “we” in meditation and daily life
Everyone is welcome – no experience needed.
