LEVEL 1/FUN: Beginners intro half day class is to help get you started on your pottery journey. During the course of the afternoon you will be given an introduction to various pottery techniques including throwing on the wheel and hand building. But, it's also a fun way of spending an afternoon or great as a gift!
Adults 18+ only
• You will learn the basics of throwing & also looking at hand building techniques such as coiling, pinching or slab work.
• This is designed for those who are not sure what course they want to do and are keen to get an insight as to what it's like to throw on the wheel and hand build before committing to a longer course and also great as a one-off fun class or gift.
• Also great as a one-off experience.
• After this short class you can specialise and book onto our 8 week beginners throwing course (please note that you will not be able to go straight onto the intermediate course).
• Alternatively, if you want to learn more about both the wheel and hand building working with specific projects and additional techniques, you can book onto our 10 week combined course to become a better all rounder.
• Split in two over the course of the afternoon, you will start with the wheel at
1-3pm, have a short break & then finish with some hand building 3.30-5.30pm.

Cost: £140 INCL. ALL MATERIALS AND FIRINGS.

REFUNDS: *Please note that if you cancel 15 full working days (Monday-Friday) in advance then you will get a full refund. If you cancel between 15 full working days and the start of the class in advance then you will only get a 50% refund if someone else can be found to replace you. Please note that all refunds are minus Eventbrite fees which are non-refundable. Cancelations may be subject to an admin fee of £50. REFUNDS for groups of 3 or larger require 20 working days notice as it can be really difficult to sell on large numbers of tickets close to the date of the class. There are no transfers available for groups of 3 or larger.
CHANGING DATES OF YOUR CLASS: Please note that to transfer to a different date you must give 15 working days notice. You are bound by the above refund terms. We only allow one transfer. If you find you are unable to do the date you have transferred to but give 15 working days notice we will issue a refund instead of another transfer.
Please note that we are unable to offer refunds or transfers within the 15 working days notice period if you are having to self-isolate or develop Covid-19 unless someone can be found to replace you.
