Event Overview

This is a free event with breakfast pastries and refreshments provided.

This event offers a morning of networking and sessions aimed at fostering community connections. We emphasize a strengths-based approach to neurodiversity, focusing on accessibility for neurodivergent individuals.

Organisations in arts, leisure, or wellbeing sectors in Gloucestershire will find valuable insights on welcoming neurodivergent attendees and enhancing event accessibility. Share your projects and learn about local initiatives while building relationships across organizations. Two engaging sessions will deepen your understanding of inclusion.

For neurodivergent individuals and groups, this conference offers a platform to discuss your experiences and needs with local organizations. Connect with others in the neurodivergent community and engage in meaningful conversations, all while celebrating neurodiversity.

Refreshments will be provided and available throughout the morning.

Sessions

Half of the attendees will attend a workshop followed by a panel discussion, and half will attend the panel discussion followed by the workshop. This is so that everyone covers the same content over the course of the morning, in what we hope is a comfortable group size.

The venue

The Half Day Neurodiversity Network Conference will be held at Churchdown Community Centre, GL3 2JH in Gloucestershire. This venue is on a bus route, and there is also parking available. The venue is wheelchair accessible and there is a key-operated lift to access the 1st floor. Please ask if you need any assistance to operate the lift.

Making the conference work for you

You are encouraged to take movement breaks as needed, and bring anything you wish to fiddle with during workshops for your own comfort. A quiet space will be provided in the upstairs board room (please note this is available until 12 noon only).

Sharing your work

There will be a community resource table, so please feel welcome to bring relevant leaflets that you wish to share with attendees and place them here. Do take any excess with you at the close of the event, as any remaining will be recycled.
