A Half Day Beginners Introduction Course to the Basics of Social Media for Business
This practical half-day training course will cover the basics of using social media, including going right back to the beginning and understanding how to set up and optimise social media pages and profiles for business. The hands-on session will enable you to publish your own engaging multimedia posts. You will become familiar with the layout of the different social media dashboards. You will also learn how to connect with and reach your target audience and what type of language to use to effectively communicate with them.
Who will benefit from this course?
This course is designed for those who know the engagement and promotional advantages of social media marketing for business but are not sure how or where to begin. We will cover how to set up a social media account or company page but if you feel you will require a lot of help with this, you may wish to book onto our two hour One-to-One Tailored Social Media Session.
What you need to know about Social Media
Nothing! Well, not much. You will need to know the login details of any existing business social media accounts you have (or your personal Facebook and LinkedIn login details if you are an admin of a company Facebook or LinkedIn page). You will also need to know if there are any existing social media pages associated with or representing your business, in case we create a duplicate if we set up a brand new page or account for your business.
Please bring a laptop and your Social Media login details to the training course.
