Description

This course is the 8 week Mindfulness Based Living Course.

Common applications:

Helps with:

Stress, anxiety, energy, sleeping, relationships, eating, mood, negative habits, spirituality, anger and emotion management, worry, pain, wellbeing&welnness

Mindfulness is an evidenced-based meditation that allows us to be happier and healthier by learning to relate to ourselves, emotions and thoughts in a different and more beneficial way. The course trainer is a teacher who teaches adults and children and practices this daily.

This course is run weekly for 8 weeks starting on 17th March and will be run in the Emersons Green Village Hall and runs from 08:30am-10.20am

The course structure is as follows:

  • 17th March – ‘What is mindfulness?’ and ‘Starting Where We Are’

  • 24th March – ‘The body as a place to stay present’

  • 31th March – ‘Introducing Mindfulness Support’

  • 7th April – ‘Working with Distraction’

  • 14th April – ‘Exploring the Undercurrent’

  • 21st April – ‘Attitude of the Observer’

  • DATE TO BE AGREED WITH GROUP - Full morning of Mindfulness

  • 28th April – Self-Acceptance

  • 5th May – Final session, ‘A Mindfulness-Based Life’
