About this event

  • 2 hours

Explore slab building techniques with clay to create your own ceramic bug house or bird box for the garden or outside space. You'll build your own box and then decorate it with coloured slips and small details which will be perfect for little birds, insects or minibeasts! All work will be fired through our kiln and will be available to collect approximately 3 weeks after the session.

Who is the workshop for?

This workshop is for children aged 7-11. Due to capacity within the workshop parents/guardians are encouraged to enjoy a drink and a slice of cake from our delicious coffee house whilst their child attends the session!

Do I need to bring anything?

Please make sure children wear clothes which don't matter if they get a little mucky!
