This online school over half term week

Is perfect for:

• Students aged 8-12 with an interest in Music and Technology.
• Parents or teachers eager to learn and share.
• Anyone new to programming, looking for an introduction to this magic world.
• We are having a lot of fun designing this course, jump aboard!

If you joined us before:

• Grab your ticket for the LEVEL 2 for brand new games, music and challenges!!

Level 1:

• The basics of block coding.
• Sprite design, controls and interactions.
• How to code for music - make a video game with an artistic twist!
• Variables, Ifs, Arrays, etc.
• NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Level 2:

• Same as Level 1, plus...
• Advanced sprite design and animations.
• Advanced Collisions.
• Functions and nested loops.
• Classes, objects and more extensions.

When?

Half term - October 26th to October 30th

Level 1 at 9.30am or 11am, each day, for 90'

Level 2 at 1pm, each day, for 90'

Just one ticket covers the whole week, for the entire household!!

Certificate

If you complete all tasks, successfully and creatively, you will receive the Conductive Music Level 1 or Level 2 certification.

All the games on this page were designed by our students, during the 2020 Summer School - they all started from scratch, with no prior knowledge ;).

The tutors:

• Dr. Enrico Bertelli, with a PhD in Performance and Technology. Enrico has taught over 2,450 workshops, and is visiting professor in 50 Universities across the UK, Spain, Hong Kong, Thailand and Japan.
• Dr. Yui Shikakura, PhD in Music Education has taught 550+ workshops and is visiting lecturer in 20 Universities. She's a Tech and Japanese traditional music specialist.
• Dr. Jack White, PhD in composition, internationally renown composer, with a strong interest in technology, avid coder. Has taught 800 workshops and 500+ students worldwide.
