Description
The Autumn Dinner will be at Bertie's Banqueting Suite, Elland as usual.
The speaker is Dominic Furby MBE who has just retired as Deputy Chief Fire Officer in Calderdale with West Yorkshire Fire Service and has now taken up the role of Deputy CEO for Smartmove, the Housing Charity. He was awarded an MBE in this year’s Queen’s Birthday Honours.
Meeting 7.00pm for 7.30pm start, we look forward to welcoming friends old and new to this popular event.
Please note that we must place our orders with Bertie's so we must close the list by close of business on 28th October. Choose from the following:
Starters: French onion soup with Gruyere cheese croutons OR garlic cream mushrooms with toasted brioche.
Mains: Breast of chicken, beetroot mash and honey-glazed parsnips OR luxury fish pie, peas and creamed potatoes OR spiced beetroot and goats cheese tartlet with a tian of dressed leaves.
Puddings: Sticky toffee pudding with caramel sauce OR banoffee pie cheesecake with butterscotch sauce.
Coffee and chocolates.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is a pay-and-display car park to the rear as well as on-street parking in Elland.
What can I bring into the event?
There is a pay-bar at the venue so please don't bring your own.

What's the refund policy?
Refunds may be considered up to 28th October. No refunds thereafter.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No tickets are issued. Your name will go on our booking list together with the number of meals purchased.
