Following on from last year’s Research & Innovation Development Programme interviews, a review of the I2Ri funding portfolio and recent discussions at the I2Ri update and planning meetings, a programme of UKRI standard grant support has been planned with the initial focus being on EPSRC standard research grants.

Research Council standard grants can be applied for at any time in any field of research relevant to the council’s remit. There is no limit on the value or the length of the grant.

We want to ensure that anyone with an interest in these schemes is equipped with the knowledge they need to decide if their research is a good fit, and an overview of the application process.

Where: Cantor 9130 Lecture Theatre

Who: Open to all, run by GrantCraft with support from RIS, previous standard grant award winners and reviewers and Helen Niblock EPSRC Head of Regional engagement.

What: A workshop to build and refresh awareness of EPSRC standard grants amongst the academic base and to launch the I2Ri EPSRC Standard Grant Bootcamp.
