Join Us for a Fangtastic Halloween at The Horse Trust between Wednesday 29th October and Sunday 2nd November, 1-4pm.

(Before reading on, please note: 1 ticket = 1 car. If you’re a Gold Sponsor or Season Pass holder, there’s no need to pre-book a parking space. Just remember to show your Horse Trust pass upon entry.)

Get ready for a spooktacular time this school holiday as The Horse Trust transforms for Halloween! From Wednesday 29th October to Sunday 2nd November, we’re inviting families to enjoy a week of frightfully fun activities for all ages.

🎃 Take part in our Spooky Scavenger Hunt

📖 Settle in for a straw-bale seated Trish’s Tales stable experience

🧙‍♀️ Try your hand at creepy crafts and witch’s apple snap games

🐴 And of course, meet our incredible horses and ponies!

Our site will be decorated in a spooky (but child-friendly) style, bringing a magical Halloween twist to your visit.

Help Fill Our Witch’s Cauldron!

Bring along a horse-friendly treat (like pumpkins or apples!) to drop in our cauldron. If you name yourself and the horse you’d like to gift it to, you might even spot them enjoying it on our social media!

🧛‍♂️ Fancy dress is very welcome, and keep an eye out for one of our special sponsor ponies, whose stable will be dressed spooky. Can you guess who it will be?

The Horse Trust is nestled in the beautiful Chiltern countryside between High Wycombe and Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire. Here, we care for up to 140 retired and rescued horses, ponies and donkeys.

During your visit, you can meet some of our residents and learn about their fascinating backstories. Our horses come from a variety of backgrounds, including the police, military, Royal Mews, Riding for the Disabled Association, and heart-wrenching rescue cases.

We also offer a scenic walkway that takes you along some of our fields, where you can see more of our residents grazing and enjoy a peaceful stroll.

Treat yourself to hot drinks, delicious cakes, or even a traditional cream tea in our Black Beauty Tea Room. Additionally, we have a small museum on-site where you can delve into our rich history.
