What to expect?

This event will be held under the open barn, which provides shelter from the rain, but is open on one side, so bring a jumper or coat to stay cosy!

Live music from local ceilidh band No Mean Feet, and of course, Caller Dr Tom will be giving dancing instructions!

Hot food will be provided on a PAYC basis by the local community cafe, Seva Lunch Club.

What is a ceilidh?

A ceilidh, pronounced "kay-lee" is a community gathering that features lively music and easy to learn dances. Rooted in Scottish and Irish heritage, ceilidhs feature energetic group dances, all guided by a caller who explains the steps—so no prior experience is needed! Whether you’re twirling with a partner or joining a huge circle of dancers, a ceilidh is all about connection, laughter, and pure joy.
