About this event

Get ready for a magical adventure at Gosforth Nature Reserve this Halloween! Join us for Boggarts and Broomsticks, where the woodland comes alive with spooky fun and creative mischief.

We will be crafting our very own witch’s broomsticks from brash, perfect for a daring flight through the woods. Then, it's time to decorate your own witch’s hat, using fallen leaves, twigs, and all the natural treasures of autumn. But the fun doesn’t stop there! Venture into the woods to bring mischievous tree boggarts to life, using clay and forest finds to give them their eerie personalities.

This magical Halloween experience is perfect for children of all ages - grab your wands and broomsticks, and get ready for an unforgettable day of spooky fun and creativity.

If you have any questions, feel free to email Ellie at urbannaturalist@newcastle.ac.uk.
