Fort Nelson is the home of the big guns of the Royal Armouries national collection of artillery.
This fully restored Victorian fort is a great place to explore, with high ramparts and panoramic views, underground tunnels and a whole museum of national treasures to discover.
Admission is FREE
Opening times: 10:00 - 17:00Open daily during school holidays and bank holidays.

You can stay as long as you wish.
Please book a free visitor ticket for everyone in your party. Parking: £3 per car - pay on arrival.
Our visitor capacity is currently restricted due to the number of car parking spaces available.
