About this event
Visit the bug shed this spooky season in our halloween themed animal experiences!
Our Bug and Exotic Animals experiences return for 2025 October half term, and we invite you into the Bug Shed for a meet and greet with our most curious looking insects, along with some of our larger exotic residents too.
Our Animal Expert Chrissy will give brave explorers (not just for kids, adults welcome!) an educational and hands on meeting with our group of fabulous mini beasts such as the Darkling Beetles, Katydids, Giant & Sunny Stick Insects, Giant Snails, Cockroaches and more. PLUS, you’ll meet our Leopard Geckos, and the likes of Mishu and Sisu our Bearded Dragons and The Boss, our Bosc Monitor Lizard! We also have our Curly Haired Tarantula, and giant vinegaroon - and maybe a peek at our corn snake!
Space is limited and tickets must be purchased online in advance. All attendees - including accompanying parents require a ticket.

Important information:

- Event suitable for ages 5 and upwards only
- All children between 5-8 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult, or if you feel your child would need supporting due to extra needs.
- On the day, present your ticket to the event at the Entry Hut, and you'll be directed over to the animal area by the play park (adults do not need to pay garden entry if you have a ticket to the event)
- Our animal expert will give a small safety brief before the event and reserves the right to stop the animal handling at any time if they feel the saftey of the animals are at risk
- Parents and carers are politely asked to step-in if they feel their child is becoming disruptive. Peristent loud screaming or mishandling of the animals may result in you being asked to leave the event
- Adults not attending the event itself must still be on-site for the duration (approx 40 mins). Refreshments available in our café while you wait, or feel free to explore the gardens.
We appreciate the age limit can be frustrating, but we must manage these experiences in the best way for both our attendees, and our animals.
Please be prompt and arrive a few minutes before your session. Session times are set and cannot overrun.
For any questions, please contact events@thewalledgardenmoreton.co.uk
