🎃 Halloween 'fancy dress' Paddleboarding at Plas y Brenin 👻
This Halloween, we’re turning the lake at Plas y Brenin into something truly spooky…
🌊 From 1pm – 5pm: join us for 45 min paddleboarding sessions. Come in fancy dress and help us fill the lake with as many witches, wizards, warlocks (and other spooky characters!) as possible. Costumes are highly encouraged – the more creative the better!
Please ensure you are booking the correct slot for the correct time and that you arrive 15 mins before your session - parking may be limited so please carshare where possible -thankyou
All profits from the event will be reinvested into training more open water lifeguards – so by joining in, you’ll be helping make swimming in our community safer too.
💸 Prices
- Paddleboarding (45 minutes): £5 per board
- Ages 8–10 can share a board with an adult (one ticket)
- Ages 10+ have their own board

- Paddleboard, buoyancy aid, instructor
🧳 What to bring
- Fancy dress (that you don’t mind getting wet!)
- Wetsuit (optional)
- Suitable footwear (Crocs, flip-flops, water shoes)
- Towel & warm layers for afterwards
🍂 Safety First
Our qualified SUP instructors will be on the water throughout, keeping everyone safe while you have fun.
All participants will need to complete a medical form on arrival.

The Plas y Brenin bar/café will be open for hot drinks and snacks all afternoon.
