Join storyteller Pat Renton as we take a walk through the woods listening to spooky stories. Meet at 1pm at Tanfield Lea Working Mens Club. We will be walking around the local woodland then return to the grounds of Tanfield Lea Club for more stories.
The session is suitable for children aged 5 to 13 years. Please note that there is some walking involved and stiles and bridges in the woods so regrettably no pushchairs. All children must be accompnaied by an adult. Maximum of 2 adults to 1 child.
Please come along dressed for the weather with suitable footwear for a walk in the woods.
This is a free event which is part of a programme of community events that have been funded by Stanley AAP Small Grants Fund.
Please do not book a space for this free event if you are unable to attend. If you find that you can no longer attend nearer the event please let us know so that we can allocate your space to someone else.

Tanfield Lea Countryside Groups' aims are to maintain and regenerate the ancient woodland, to protect and enhance its wildlife, habitats and biodiversity and to encourage appropriate community participation, enjoyment and education. We aim to foster a better understanding and respect for the woodland through organised events.We meet at 6.30pm on the last Friday of every month (except December) at Tanfield Lea Club, DH9 9NA.
