This Halloween, join Children North East where our story began 135 years ago — with a scenic and spooky 3 mile stroll along the stunning Whitley Bay coastline. Don your best costumes and walk for happy, healthy childhoods while raising awareness and funds for the children and families we support.
About the Walk
Follow in the footsteps of our founders with a Halloween twist! In 1891, Children North East took children from Newcastle’s city centre to the coast for a day of food, fun and fresh air. Today, we walk the same coastline — now in fancy dress — to raise awareness and vital funds for over 4,200 babies, children and young people we support each year.
This Halloween-themed walk is perfect for families, friends, colleagues, and community groups who want to have fun, connect, and make a real difference in the lives of children across our region.
