You Have seen this place on Most Haunted, Now experience it for yourself.
Swinging chandeliers, doors opening by themselves and books being thrown. Apparitions of a monk been seen on the main staircase, a ghost of possibly a young boy, who is thought to be friendly but shy. East Yorkshire's Halsham House certainly lives up to its ghostly reputation.
The house in the village of Halsham, in the heart of Holderness, which has been around since 1584 and was established by John Constable. The eerie building which has formally been a school, an alms house, a convent and a hospital.
With twisted small corridors and a labyrinth of rooms and dark spaces, it's no wonder people feel uneasy about staying here. There is a distinct feeling someone's eyes are watching every move you make.
